I finally had the opportunity debut my work and to show a majority of my newest collection of fine art photographs "Aphrodesia!" at Create:Fixate (http://www.createfixate.com).
The turnout was pretty good and the response to my work was fantastic! It seems that almost everyone who took a look at my work had lots of questions and plenty to say about it. And they voted for me for Best-in-Show! I hope I win!!

I'm not sure if anything was sold that night, but what's important to me right now is emerging on the scene as an artist and a creator of excellent, thoughtful and well-produced images. It's about getting my name out there as "The Dutchess" and showing my work to the right people and in the right places. I'm not saying I want to exclude any demographic, but I do want exposure to those who would be interested in buying, collecting, collaborating, hiring, commissioning and placing my work. Meaning, I invite all of you, PLUS all you curators, gallery owners and managers, art buyers, interior designer, restaurant owners and chefs, art directors, creative directors, art lovers and foodies...

You can see my and even order prints online now on my website, but it's always best to see the prints in person too. To see more. go to my website's direct link at http://www.laykinphoto.com/PHOTO-COLLECTIONS/SEXY-ART/8279632_NX7k2

I'm looking for representation, and a great gallery space to show my work for an extended period of time.

And of course I'm looking for further commissions and photography jobs, not limited to food or fine art but also including hospitality, restaurants, food & beverage, architecture, lifestyle and of course people ( headshots, portraits, families, etc).

Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more on The Dutchess and Laykin Photo
